Before & After

Completely tore off 3-tab 20 year shingles.  Applied 15lb felt paper and ice & water shield along the eaves of the roof.  Re-roofed with 30 year GAF architectural shingles.  Installed white drip edge along eaves of the roof.  Removed old aluminum fascia.  Re-cladded fascia board with white aluminum trim gauged at .019.  Removed old aluminum gutters and installed white seamless gutters gauged at .032.

The old aluminum siding was completely torn off.  The front of the house was refaced with Boulder Creek veneer stone.  The remainder elevation was resided with Mastic Quest vinyl siding gauged at .046.  The exisiting wood windows were replaced with new wood clad on vinyl windows.  The exterior wood trim was capped with white aluminum trim.  The fascia board was re-cladded with white aluminum trim.  All of the gutters and downspouts were replaced with 5 inch seamless white gutters and downspouts.

The old entry way door and side lights were removed.  The door was reframed and a new entry way door with sidelites were dropped in.

The old wooden double hung windows were removed and replaced with Simonton Reflections 5500 energy star double hung vinyl windows.  The exterior wood trim were replaced and capped with white aluminum trim.

The attic had existing cellulose insulation which had settled over the years.  Owens Corning fiberglass loosefill insulation was blown in to the attic.  The attic now has an R-Value of 60.

This house was completely rehabbed from top to bottom.  The old 3-tab shingles were deteriorated and was causing leaks into the home.  Old shingles were completely torn off and replaced with GAF architectural shingles with ridge vents to improve attic ventilation.  Old aluminum siding was torn off and replaced with Mastic Quest vinyl siding along with steel starter strips to insure leveling.  The old gable vents were removed and replaced with a circular vinyl gable vent.  Aluminum soffits were installed all around the roof rakes.  Aluminum fascia were re-cladded and all wood trims around the windows were capped with aluminum coil.  The existing gutters were not providing proper rain flow, so new gutters were installed with gutter guards to prevent future clogging.

The two wooden double hungs were removed and replaced with Vinylmax Radiance energy star vinyl double hung windows.  Foam were sprayed around the windows to prevent draft and other elements.  The wood trim were capped with white aluminum coil.
